» Serge Teyssot-Gay.
Free zone, duet based by the guitarist Serge Teyssot gay (Noir Désir, Interzone) and the drummer Cyril Bilbeaud (Sloy, Tea Hakola, Versari), practices as much the free improvisation in movies-concerts as the compositions structured / unstructured of a « free-rock » explorer. After 1 instrumental album ( » Made vibrate The Flesh » in 2007) and 2 albums rock / rap looking like the blackness of apocalypse ( » The Dead angle » in 2009 and « The Tales of the Chaos » in 2011), Free Zone colorizes and becomes PolyUrbaine, where the riffs of guitar has a dialogue with the patterns of battery to orchestrate an Afro/ rock / rap / beat kissing riffs of the rock, flow of the rap, oriental odd rhythms and African multi-rhythmic.
It is Polyrythmie-des-zones-Urbaines, where the cultural traditions, the scansions of the languages and the stories, mix and become entangled, juxtapose and cross, gathered as archipelago towards an All-World in perpetual (r)evolution. For PolyUrbaine, Free Zone welcomes texts and voices(votes) of:
– Mike Ladd, poet and New York rapper author of 10 albums more collaborations diverse as Company Flow, Saül Williams, Cannibal Ox, Vijay Iyer …
– Marc Nammour, poet and French-Lebanese rapper author of 3 albums under the name The Villain ( » A drop of honey in a liter of lead » – on 2009, » By time of fury » – on 2011, » The nausea » – on 2014.)

» The politics exploit the fears, the racism and the misogyny get back of the ground and double violence. Feminist clip, » the mountain » poster on the urban walls women’s faces, illustrious or anonymous, which opened the way so that « rights of the human » become « human rights ».
From Olympes de Gouges to Rosa Parks, from Angela Davis to Anna Politovskaïa, from Harriet Tubman to Nawal Al Saadawi, of the most famous in the most hidden, the striking women take forward the life and to move back the darkness. FOR ALL. » Serge Teyssot-Gay.
